Europe pt IV: The Boat

Ah, yes, the ship itself. Now is probably a good time to talk about the ship we spent our time on. It's hard to put into words just how impressive this thing was, but the Voyager of the Seas was definitely an awesome place to experience. Lots of pools, lots of food, lots of places to get drunk, and a big old casino to blow money in. Yeah, it was definitely fun.

Anyways, first up is the Pool deck, where I spent most of my leisurely afternoons when I wasn't doing anything productive (like choking on dust in Pompeii, for example). There was plenty of flesh to be seen, and all in all, it wasn't too shabby. Of course, I didn't really get a chance to take any good shots of hot chicks, because I'm not a creepy stalker like that, but there are definitely a couple hotties on the perimeter of the pics.

That brings us to the ship's interior. On the 5th deck, there was a large open-air sort of area, with a few bars, shops, et al. The ceiling was 4 stories up and it was one big cavernous area, and it was pretty cool to get loaded and watch the light shows. Unfortunately, these pics didn't turn out so well. Oh well, I'm using a small digicam to try and get a shot of a 500 foot long room. Not exactly easy:

Now I guess it's time for some drinking photos. Drinking is fun. This trip proved it. I snagged 4 full bottles of booze to bring on the trip, and I must say, it was a stoke of brilliance. Cut my booze bills in half, I say.

This is me winning my round of Karaoke Idol with a roaring rendition of Folsom Prison Blues. I lost in the finals to a woman who sang I Will Survive. Go figure.

Hey, girls!

And that's that as far as stuff on the interior of the ship goes.
